Lew's comments:  Ok I have a couple folks out there with their head in the sand. I'm gonna try my best not to sound rude but they are mis informed. They've contacted me through the comments section of this site (all be it anonymously) They claim the "bars aren't out of biz because of the ban, Maybe some. And if i'd put on good shows people would come back." Well i've a little news for some people, small town bars, (and any other bars that I know of) don't make their living on shows. (Most of our show's we do pretty well on actually) but We do it to try to boost the week and give our customers entertainment. You know, raise a little hell to show theirs a difference between Monday and Friday, so we all know we're still alive. We make our living daily! On our kick ass food and drinks and what we call "DAD" Drinks after Dinner. If people do come in, as soon as dinner is over and they need a smoke....the leave! Especially if its 20 below zero out side. (You see, we've just turned a $38 ticket into a $22 ticket.)  I used to have a lot of people here after work for a few hours, and then a new crowd for the night. Now I don't! It's our regulars and smokers that don't like the ban, now they drink at home. And they are the ones were missing the most. It's those kinds of losses that make it immpossible to bring back the Mayhem of last year. How do pay Warrant, Head East, etc..If I can't pay my mortgage?? I'm open to new ideas on show's and what ever so, Let me hear what you want.    I'd suggest also that you look at all the other states that have bans, their screwed too!  Charitable gaming is in the toilet. You know, pull tabs, bingo etc... M.S. pulled out all together (shortly after the smoking ban) Guess where you find those charitable gambling things??  Yep, in the bars!  Any how, i'm putting up a new page on this site and i'll post comments from others and you all let me know what you think. I'll put out the one about the shows and we can compare it to the ones that say "Sorry Lew, we're staying home or going to the casino unless we can smoke in your bar" Those should be interesting....and heart wrenching at the same time! 201!!! Remember that #.  All right, this is gonna be a little awkward but I think it needs to be put out there. The Mainline is down accross the board since the inception of the smoking ban. My food, my drinks, our games and gaming, my daily totals and weekends. I was told there'd be tons of new customers because of the ban.....Well, I haven't seen any and apparently i'm not the only one. Don't let anyone tell you that no ones biz is hurting because of it. IT'S A LIE! A GREAT BIG ONE!  Any how, we really need customers or were going to be done for. I've had to sell my motorcycle, my house is for sale. If I get that sold we might make it. So for all of the people who wanted a smoking ban, please get out and support your local bars and restaurants or they won't be there much longer..... Radio advertising sure doesn't bring people out, so it's up to YOU!!

Speaking of radio, I KNOW one company that really really sucks ass. I got sued over it, lost of course. Cuz radio can screw up, ruin your SHOWS, run wrong ads, Over charge, etc. and get away with it. SO....let me KNOW if you want to KNOW which company BLOWS! Now GO out and party SO we can all keep on keepin on. All I ever wanted was to have a cool bar and have a lot of fun, do what everyone said couldn't be done and make friends. Big corporate DillHoles and scumbags of the world have really tried to stick it to us. Luckily, I have all of you to help me keep going!     

Thursday June 26th  "Buffalo Feed" We are donating all the proceeds to Robbie Ball. You know him, he's been in the band "Cats and Dogs for years" He and his family are the ones that own and operate the Crowbar in Sabin. He's had a hell of a run and is on the road to recovery. We want to help out in what ever way we can. Go ROBBIE!!!!!    I'll put up the rest of the details in a little while.
